Reiki
Reiki is the channelling of Universal Life Force Energy through the palms of the practitioner, which are held over various parts of the recipient's body for a few minutes at a time. The purpose of this is to promote healing in the mind, body and spirit by increasing positive energy flow. Practitioners are specially trained in the channeling of Source energy, from which all life stems, and have been attuned to the intentions of the Reiki symbols, shown below.
What to Expect

Your Reiki session will be carried out in a clean, calm space.

The energy in the room will have been cleared with fresh air, incense, candles, plants, crystals and music.

As your practitioner, I will have cleansed my own energy beforehand.

There will be the opportunity to discuss and/or meditate upon your intention for the session.

I will initiate the session using the Reiki symbols.

My hands will then hover over each of your chakra points for a few minutes at a time, then above your knees, then over and below each foot. I will not touch you.

This sequence will be followed over your front and back, taking approximately 30 minutes in total.

At the end of the session, I will use the Raku symbol to ground you and seal in the healing energy.

You will then be offered a glass of water and time to reflect.

You may start to feel changes, whether immediately, on the way home or in the coming days, as the energy shifts within you.
