An advanced-beginner level / easy string bag crochet pattern (for hemp yarn, or cotton DK/blends).
 
This bag stretches considerably, so can be filled with a basket full of groceries, beach items, travel stuff, or anything!
 
Stitches: chain, slip, double crochet (UK terminology) - you need to know how to do these to follow the pattern.
 
Measurement: very approximately to the widest parts (and dependent on yarn used) -
BAG: approx. 30cm wide x 39cm long (plus stretch)
STRAPS: 1.5cm wide x 27cm to shoulder

You will need:
3.5mm crochet hook
3 x 50g balls of 100% hemp yarn (or cotton dk / cotton blends)
Scissors, yarn needle, stitch marker, row counter (optional)
